Security deposits for parties, mobile play, private play, and photoshoots are non-refundable and non-rebookable. If you wish to reschedule, a new security deposit will be required, as your original date was reserved exclusively for you.

Can I have my child’s birthday party during regular business hours without booking a package?
No. We do not allow parties during regular business hours.
We do allow simple birthday playdates with one cake and gifts, but outside catering, decorations, or rearranging café tables for a party setup are not allowed during regular operating hours. Doing so may result in being asked to leave.
Can you pay for classes or events at the door?
No. All classes and events require online registration so we can plan properly and avoid overcrowding.
Food & Café
Can we bring our own snacks or food?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except for:
- Water in a water bottle
- Food for babies below 1 year old
- Medically necessary food
- Food for booked parties, depending on the package
I like the café concept for parents, but can I still use the play area with my child?
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to relax, work, enjoy the café, or actively play with their child.
We have free Wi-Fi, available plugs, café seating inside the play area for children who prefer their parent nearby, and bar seating with a full view of the play space for more independent children.
What makes Kids Wood Play Cafe unique?
Kids Wood Play Cafe is built around high-quality, sustainable, eco-friendly wooden toys sourced from around the world. Our space is Montessori- and Waldorf-inspired and designed to support calm, meaningful, open-ended play.
We also encourage independence through child-height design touches, such as child-accessible ordering, seating, trays, cubbies, and toilet step stools so little ones can participate confidently in everyday routines.
Play Rules, Ages & Supervision
Can we wear shoes in the play area?
Our Kids Cafe is strictly socks only. No shoes and no bare feet.
You may bring your own socks, or purchase a pair on-site if needed.
For guests who require a stroller or wheeled device, we clean the wheels before entering the play area.
At what age do you start charging children to play?
If your child is actively playing, we require a play pass.
For our youngest guests, we offer a gentle introduction to play:
-
1 to 6 months — ₱100 per hour
We encourage booking in advance and using the code SPROUTBABY at checkout so our team can thoughtfully prepare our Montessori for Babies space, designed for early sensory exploration and calm interaction.
-
6 months and up — standard play rates apply
At this stage, children are more actively engaging with our environment, and we provide a wide range of carefully curated, developmentally appropriate materials to support their growing curiosity and movement.
Do staff supervise the play environment?
All children must have a signed waiver from their parent or guardian before playing.
While we have carefully designed the space for safety, parents or guardians must supervise their children, especially those aged 6 and below. Our team members are present, but they are not assigned to supervise each child’s play.
Guardians must be 18 years old and above.
We do have a first-aid kit, and our staff are trained to use it. We also offer a Child Minder as an add-on to your open play pass.
Safety & Cleanliness
How do you keep the space safe and clean?
We are parents too, and we apply the same care we would want for our own children.
We use air purification systems in the café, schedule cleaning between play sessions, disinfect toys and high-touch areas, and provide alcohol throughout the space.
Our toys are primarily wooden, which naturally helps reduce the accumulation of bacteria and viruses compared with many plastic surfaces.
Membership
What is included in the Kids Cafe membership?
Do you have a trial period for membership?
Yes. If you purchase an open play pass and decide to upgrade to a membership after your first visit, we can apply that day’s play pass payment toward your membership.
This is only valid after one visit. If you have already visited more than once, we can no longer apply that previous visit toward a membership.
Can I use my friend’s membership card or lend mine to someone else?
No. Memberships are for immediate family use only and may not be shared with other families, even if they are visiting with you.
Payments & Practical Info
Do you accept cash and cards?
Yes. We accept cash, e-wallets, and major cards. We do not accept personal checks.
I’m breastfeeding. Do you have accommodations?
Yes. You are welcome to feed your child wherever and however you feel comfortable. If you prefer more privacy, we can offer our office.
What if we leave something behind?
Please double-check your belongings before leaving. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
We do keep a lost and found near our cubbies. Unclaimed items are kept for up to one week, then donated or disposed of.
Where can we leave our personal belongings, stroller, scooter, or trike?
You may bring personal belongings inside the café, but you remain responsible for them at all times.
Strollers, scooters, trikes, and similar items may be parked outside the Kids Cafe, and our staff will show you the designated area.
Do you allow pets inside the Kids Cafe?
Pets are welcome in our al fresco dining area only.
